Please note that Steel Beasts Professional uses a hardware device (a
USB dongle) for software protection. An available USB port is
required.
Steel Beasts Professional requires an IBM compatible PC (x86 or x64) with the
following minimum configuration: (Recommended specs are in parentheses.)
- 2.5 (3) GHz CPU
- 1.5 (2) GB RAM
- 256 (512) MB, Nvidia Geforce 5+ Class Directx9 Compatible Card or
- 256 (512) MB, ATI Radeon 9600+ Directx9 Compatible Card
- Some users have reported success with more recent Intel graphics chipsets (GMA X4500+),
however, they have not been tested and are not specifically supported.
- 3 (5) GB available hard disk space
- Free USB port for dongle
- Mouse
- DVD drive
- Microsoft Windows 7, Vista / 2000 / XP with Service Pack 2 (or later)
installed.
Steel Beasts will NOT run on
Windows NT.
- Microsoft
DirectX version 9.0c (or better) installed. Vista users must
install DirectX 9.0c in parallel to DirectX 10, which comes standard
with Vista.
For better playing experience, a sound card and joystick are
recommended.
